Award Recognizes Collision Repair Professionals Who Deliver Excellence in Customer Service

OVERLAND PARK, KS (September 26, 2011) – During the recent CARSTAR annual conference in Seattle, three CARSTAR facilities were named “CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Expert of the Year” by Esurance, the direct-to-consumer personal auto insurance company.

CARSTAR CEO David Byers, Insurance Senior Vice President Dan Young and Senior Director, Insurance Relations, Larry Seimbab honored representatives from each winning store during the annual awards ceremony. Tim Glenn, Appraisal Manager, represented Esurance in the awards presentation. 

The “CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Expert of the Year” award is given by Esurance to the top performing stores in three regions, and is based on criteria such as a facility’s estimate cycle time, compliance with Esurance’s direct repair program, re-inspection variance, I-CAR Gold status, and customer service comments.

The award was created to celebrate the top technicians in the industry, recognize those who continue their technological education and encourage new generations to become collision repair professionals.
