Friday, June 08, 2012

OVERLAND PARK, KS (June 8, 2012) – CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts is searching for the dirtiest car in America during the “CARSTAR Dirtiest Car Contest” as part of the annual Soaps It Up! North American Car Wash.

The contest encourages car owners to tweet pictures on Twitter of their dirty rides. Car owners can tweet photos to @CARSTARAutoBody with the hash tag #SoapsItUp for the chance to win a free detail service from their local CARSTAR. Two winners will be selected.

CARSTAR’s Dirtiest Car Contest is open to all U.S. residents ages 18 and over. No purchase necessary. Contest ends midnight EST on July 20, 2012.

The contest is part of the annual CARSTAR Soaps It Up! Car Wash taking place at CARSTAR locations across the U.S and Canada. On June 9, thousands of volunteers across the United States and Canada will be washing vehicles to raise funds to help Make-A-Wish grant wishes in the U.S., and to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis in Canada. Last year, the Soaps It Up! Car Wash raised more than $30,000 in the U.S. and set the Guinness World Record for most cars washed in multiple locations during an eight hour period by washing more than 4,300 vehicles.
